Pravčická Brána (German: Prebischtor) is a unique natural monument and the most famous tourist destination of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. Since the end of the 18th century, the sandstone rock window has enjoyed considerable interest. The location is dominated by the romantic architecture of the trip restaurant and hotel Falcon’s Nest built in 1881.
The authenticity of the old hotel represents one of the main values of the site. Therefore, all the present buildings on the site will be preserved, with only minimal interventions. The modifications will mainly affect the internal layout or the use of individual buildings. The new concept includes a restaurant with public access, a design hotel with a wellness area and an exhibition space in an existing cave in the sandstone rock.
